TLE SDC is part of Turbine Lifecycle Engineering team (Global function). Service Delivery Centre (SDC) contributes to the growth of Vestas Service by directly involving with Service Business Units (SBUs) on Blades and General CIR reviews, VGA Maintenance / Tech. review and field support. Being a part of Global function we strive to be best and keep challenging ourself to deliver best. We review CIR created by site technicians or engineers across globe on Vestas CIR Portal and third party drone portals. We maintain Vestas Global adviser ( VGA ) portal upto date by new guide additions and upgrading the existing guides. VGA is tool used across Vestas to troubleshoot turbine related concerns. We are responsible to support SBUs to achieve service target by doing day to day technical task through remote working structure.
Responsibilities
CIR Management & Technical Operations
- Review & Approval Evaluate, prioritize, and approve Component Inspection Reports (CIR) across Onshore, Offshore, and platform-specific wind turbine systems
- Tool & Process Optimization: Proactively lead technical upgrades for CIR tools—enhancing content quality, UI responsiveness, and overall reporting standards
- Database & Digitization: Build and maintain databases to support workflow digitization, enable data-driven analysis, and minimize operational backlog
Technical Solution Delivery & Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Cross-Functional RCA: Collaborate with regional engineering and CIM teams to execute root cause analysis and identify new failure modes
- CIM Case Management: Create, track, and update CIM candidate based on emerging CIR findings to deliver timely, high-quality solutions to field service teams
- Task Force execution: Constitute and lead dedicated technical task forces focused on reducing Low Performance Factors (LPF), avoiding Liquidated Damages (LD), and optimizing key operational metrics based on CIR findings
Stakeholder Alignment & Global Collaboration
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Lead technical discussions and lead brainstorming sessions with regional teams, VTO specialists, and functional experts to resolve high-priority and critical cases
- Performance Tracking: Host weekly and monthly alignment calls with global stakeholders to report on CIR progress, review action plans, and ensure timely resolution delivery
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering
- Core Experience:
- 5+ years in technical support, troubleshooting, commissioning, or field service operations for WTG platforms
- 5+ years of direct site experience handling critical component diagnostics in field environments
- Preferred / Advantageous Qualifications:
- Experience with 3.5MW to 4MW+ turbine fleets
- Multi-OEM / Multi-brand platform exposure (e.g., GE, Siemens Gamesa, Suzlon, Senvion)
- Direct experience with Offshore operations
- Hands-on experience with quality and problem-solving methodologies (8D, Six Sigma)
- Proficiency in data and tool workflows (Power BI, Jira)

- Deep understanding of WTG diagnostics, fault investigation, work instructions, and technical schematics
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Mindset:
- Strong root cause analysis skills with a growth mindset and "out-of-the-box" approach to finding solutions
- Communication & Stakeholder Management:
- Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven capability to collaborate seamlessly across multi-cultural, international teams across time zones
- Operational Drive:
- Self-motivated and capable of operating independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills to balance daily operations with high-impact task forces
- Willingness to travel to domestic site locations and abroad as required
