Analyst - Software

GP, Projects & Digitalization -> Logistics and Manufacturing Excellence -> Insights
Logistics and Manufacturing Excellence team is at the fore front of digitalization initiatives in Vestas and is placed under the Global Procurement, projects and digitalization department. We improve, implement, and support the digital tools / solutions across the value chain in Vestas. You will be a part of a creative team working with Robotic Process Automation to aid in automation initiatives of various business processes of Vestas.


Responsibilities

  • Identify, Evaluate, design, and build RPA solutions with Blueprism tool in accordance with standard RPA design principles and conventions
  • Configuring new Blue Prism processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable, and easy to understand
  • Supporting existing processes and implementing change requirements as part of a structured change control process
  • Accurately evaluating and estimating new processes, quickly assessing feasibility
  • Problem solving issues that arise in day to day running of Blue Prism processes and providing timely responses and solutions as required
  • Develop Macro tools and .net applications apart from RPA solutions
  • Work closely with stakeholders to review and refine business process workflows including identifying areas of possible simplification
  • Propose and implement system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system
  • Coordinate with RPA CoE Team on software related issues, suggested improvements and participating with other users in the community
  • Creating PDD, SDD and documenting test procedures and scenarios for the pre-User Acceptance Test phases


Qualifications

  • B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering
  • 2-3 years of experience in working with Blueprism RPA technology
  • Certification in Blue Prism


Competencies

  • Knowledge and experience in other RPA tools such as UiPath, AA is an added advantage
  • Experience with agile development and software development life cycle (SDLC) processes
  • Knowledge in cognitive automation with OCR tools, AI/ML skills
  • Software development background with any of the following (C#, C++, Java, .NET)
  • Good understanding and development skills with Excel macros scripting
  • Good to have experience in SQL, web services such as REST or SOAP, web application development (e.g., HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
  • Ability to understand a business process based on a workflow diagram and to conceptualize it as an automated solution while using business analysis skills as needed
  • Team oriented individual and Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience
  • Knowledge in Reporting Tools such as Power BI, SAC
