The One Tools Department operates Seven Tool Warehouses in different countries worldwide, with Tools Region APC IN being one of them. The India Tools Warehouse supplies Installation & Commissioning tools to the Project Department and Operation & Maintenance tools to the Service Department. Our aim is to deliver high-quality tools to our stakeholders, ensuring safer, smarter, and more efficient Construction & Service activities, thereby sustaining Vestas as a global leader in the wind energy sector.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end Technical Support for Tools to One Tool warehouses.
  • Read and interpret tool specifications, technical documents, and drawings.Have hands-on experience with tools and equipment usage and operating principles in the wind industry for over 7 years.
  • Interact with R&D/Vestas Power Solutions to gather detailed technical solutions for tools.
  • Address technical queries from the Construction, Service, and Procurement teams.
  • Be familiar with Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, and Electronics circuits and drawings related to tools and equipment.
  • Understand and manage the ECM process for rebuilding and change management as per requirements.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of tool quality processes and maintenance procedures.
  • Follow up closely with the support team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Create Maintenance & Inspection Checklists for tools.

 

Qualfication

  • Engineering Graduate (BE / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech).
  • 7+ years of technical experience in the wind industry or tools management.Excellent knowledge of SAP.
  • Extensive hands-on with CREO, Windchill, CAD.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
