This role has direct report line to regional procurement manager and is a part of Global Procurement team, working as Sr. Purchaser supporting global and regional procurement activities in Weldment, cover and container areas.



  • Improve value add through leveraging of supplier's capability. Coordinate material productivity via effective utilization of procurement levers (such as fact pack, should cost, e-auction) Directly handle new and existing supplier relationships both regional and global scale, need to improve and develop supplier partnership to deliver business milestones. 
  • Coordinate early supplier involvement for NPIs, secure the Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost related deliverables.
  • Ensure supply base data is available to support business decisions
  • Implement and coordinate all aspects of the supplier development, contracting and buy to pay processes, prepare, implement and implement annual negotiations, including proper risk management
  • Be the primary point of escalation and resolution for scope related supplier issues
  • Evaluate and update existing commodity strategies, mindset supplier account plans



  • Bachelor's or Masters' degree in global supply chain management, sourcing related areas.
  • 6+ years' work experience in procurement or other related supply chain management field, industry experience (renewable energy, manufacturing/factory environment, etc.) is desired, better understanding to project management 
  • Demonstrated strategic procurement skills in the areas of negotiation, supplier relationship management, supplier account plan. And proofed ability to align with international stakeholders and collaborate across functions.
  • Experience gathering market intelligence (understanding/interest in global markets, material trends, politics, etc.), high level business insight (understanding of financial statements, cash flow, EBIT, inventory, etc.)
  • Advanced negotiation experience for supplier negotiations (Direct negotiation experienced
  • Skilled interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, advanced ability to create and deliver presentations and business cases. Experience in state owned company relationship management will be plus. 
  • Results oriented, problem solver, critical thinking skills



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, SAP and additional software programs)
  • Effective written and oral communication skills; able to express oneself clearly and in technical and non-technical terms in English
  • Ability to work flexible hours and with variety of cultures (coordinating with various time zones)
  • Ability to effectively work with a cross functional team that may include internal, external, domestic and international stakeholders
