As Purchasing Manager you:

  • Develop and implements optimal commodity strategy including strategies for local content requirements
  • Support best-in-class supply chain management processes in order to secure safety, quality, delivery and cost
  • Build supply market intelligence and ensure that supply base data is available to support business decisions
  • Secure that all cost out opportunities are identified
  • Improve your team to have effective contracting process with suppliers to ensure legal compliance and coverage
  • Make sure your team follows an optimum process for selecting and qualifying new suppliers including a well-managed industrialization process
  • Adhere to sourcing processes in accordance with global processes and standards
  • Have your team fully understand the KPI governance and that KPIs are achieved
  • Secures relevant risk assessments are completed and acted upon to reduce risk with your team
  • Customer focused and takes the Voice of customer into account
  • Support your regional manager, the director of the direct material procurement to improve function quality, and fulfill the key deliverables



  • Master degree in related discipline, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing and Business/Economy
  • At least 8 years of work experience within a comparable environment, in a manufacturing company or consultancy
  • At least 3 years of team management experience. Proven history within leadership, team management, procurement
  • Motivated with global network and effective communication
  • Knowledge of Nacelle and Hub components and supplier landscape 
  • Practice in Lean Management principles and Six Sigma
  • Fluent in English is mandatory
