Manufacturing and Global Procurement > COO CHI > Regional Procurement CHI


Global Procurement Program Management (PPM) is responsible for organizing and implementing the procurement scope of technology, new product introduction and technology transfer projects within Vestas. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Secure SQD contribution in the module strategy, and active on supply base decisions making
  • Early engagement with module/sub module procurement to source from quality assured suppliers ensuring that suppliers are having the right technical and maturity capabilities
  • Improve quality goals with clear targets on supplier selection and supplier qualification
  • Ensuring installed capacity robustness by capacity assessments and identify the risks and put in place relevant mitigation actions
  • Ensure right first time by performing process audits in all development phases (proto, pre serial)
  • Improve quality goals with clear targets for regional suppliers

 

Qualifications

  • Master degree in related discipline, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing and Business/Economy
  • At least 10 years of work experience within a comparable environment, in a manufacturing company or consultancy
  • At least 5 years of team management experience. Proven history within leadership, team management, procurement
  • Efficient with global network and effective communication
  • Practice in Lean Management principles and Six Sigma 
  • Fluent in English is mandatory
