Vestas CEU Romania operates in 5 existing hubs in Romania and due to new projects we are recruiting a Supervisor in a newly created Area - Buzau. Responsibilities 

You will guide your organization and changes in the area to improve safety, financial results, and employee and customer satisfaction. An ideal candidate for this position will be able to combine attention to detail with effective decision-making and solid managerial skills.

 

Furthermore, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Execution of the strategy by setting operational goals for the operational units under your management, assuring quality of reporting and constantly looking for ways to optimize on safety, quality and cost
  • Supervising and building a motivated and effective team of technicians in close collaboration with the Area Manager and the Area Supervisors
  • Analysis of operational and financial data, making necessary changes and improvements
  • Deliver services on an operational level, concerning process adherence, service quality, safety standards, and performance ensured
  • Coordinate interpersonal skills development, competencies, and training actions (including safety-related, such as safety walks/talks)
  • Comply with Vestas standards across the dedicated site and processes, procedures, and tools implemented continuously
  • Coordinate Service Team and resolve issues with external service providers, customers, and internal stakeholders daily
  • Monitor technician's performance and task execution to ensure effective cost control. Approve work performed and technician timesheets

 

Qualifications

  • Several years of proven people management experience, and experience in change management and performance management
  • Educational background within a business or technical field. 
  • Fluency in English Proven experience with having had own economic responsibility
  • Proven history from a mechanical, electrical, or hydraulics background within a similar industry
  • Comfortable with direction and expectation setting within Vesta's quality, safety, and cost goals as well as maintaining standards
  • Proven solid organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and change focus as per the needs of the business 
  • Highly developed communications skills, the ability to be clear and consistent with the customer message internally within Vestas

  • You have previous management experience and organizational skills by directing multi-layered teams within an operational environment
  • You can demonstrate solid business understanding and stakeholder management and know what it means to be "customer-centric"
  • Professional networker and team-focused approach. Able to connect and collaborate and have clear communication at all levels
  • You keep safety in the highest regard
