Digital Employee Experience and Infrastructure as a Service at Vestas, focused on providing IT support and services to users in the Latin America region. The role of Regional IT Delivery Manager involves developing a team of IT supporters and engineers, providing performance and customer satisfaction, and ensuring collaboration with local stakeholders and other IT teams.
he goal is to deliver integrated and efficient service, supporting continuous improvements in IT infrastructure and coordinating projects in the region. The manager will act as a bridge between local vendors and the global supply chain function, ensuring that Vestas' global standards and services are upheld.
Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively collaborate with local stakeholders to assess site needs and adjust IT support accordingly.
- On-Site Management: Oversee on-site support based on activity levels, addressing delivery issues and ensuring user satisfaction.
- Team Performance: Evaluate team member performance against KPIs, including communication and resolution quality.
- Resource Planning: Handle staff planning, scheduling, ticket management, and critical incident responses.
- Improvement Initiatives: Identify and prioritize initiatives for process improvements and cost optimizations.
- Vendor Oversight: Ensure local vendors meet contractual and delivery obligations.
- Compliance and Safety: Maintain adherence to organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Travel Requirements: Manage a portfolio of sites, requiring travel for operations and project activities.
Qualifications:
- Leadership Experience: Experience with managing teams and planning staff.
- Good Communication Skills: Effective communicator and influencer, comfortable interacting with users, senior management, and peers.
- Service-Oriented Mindset: Ability to be heard, understood, and respected by colleagues, management, and local suppliers.
- Analysis and Structured Approach: Utilizes data to drive suggestions and informed decisions.
- Additionally, the ideal candidate has:

- Solid proficiency in spoken and written English and Spanish.
- Desirable Portuguese
