In People & Culture, you will be part of an inspiring and collaborative team supporting the business on all people matters across Vestas. You will partner closely with our business leaders to carry out Vestas’ strategy and promote the people and culture agenda.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Business Partner to support our growing MED East subregion, covering Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Romania, Serbia, and Ukraine, with more than 400 employees and a solid growth outlook.

Your role will focus on building leadership capability, maturing our P&C delivery model, increasing cooperation with P&C Operations and the Service Desk, and harmonizing HR processes across diverse regulatory and cultural environments. You will be a trusted advisor to managers, helping them embed the Lead to Win culture and enabling a scalable and sustainable organization.

 

Responsibilities

Leadership & Culture Development

  • Provide day-to-day coaching and support to managers to embed Vestas’ Lead to Deliver leadership culture across all seven countries
  • Strengthen leadership capability by guiding managers in performance, development, feedback, and people decisions

P&C Delivery Model & Process Maturity

  • Ensure the maturity of the People & Culture delivery model in the subregion, ensuring clear roles, consistent standards, and efficient collaboration across P&C Business Partnering, P&C Operations and the Service Desk
  • Harmonize and elevate HR processes (employee lifecycle, onboarding, performance, development, compliance), ensuring alignment with MED expectations and global P&C standards
  • Support change management activities linked to organizational changes, new processes, and regional transformation initiatives

Support Regional Growth & Talent Needs

  • Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, talent needs, internal mobility and succession planning
  • Support recruitment processes in partnership with TA, focusing on high-quality selection and ensuring an effective onboarding experience

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Vestas's policies and local legislation across the seven countries
  • Maintain oversight of employee relations topics and escalation handling, providing guidance and support to ensure timely, fair, and compliant resolution
  • Support the region in preparing for internal audits and compliance checks

Employee Experience & Engagement

  • Enhance employee experience through consistent implementation of HR practices, timely issue management, and support to managers in building engagement
  • Partner with local teams to ensure smooth onboarding, role clarity, and meaningful employee development opportunities

 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Law, Business Administration or similar
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant HR experience, in regional or international environments, supporting managers with minimal supervision across remote or multicultural teams
  • Fluent Romanian and English (written and spoken)

  • Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively in an environment with frequent changes

Additional information

This is a hybrid position based in Bucharest, Romania, and requires up to 15 travel days per year.
