Vestas Eastern Europe and Central Europe is a Sales Business Unit covering Eastern Europe countries including Romania.
We are responsible for the sales, installation and service of wind farms throughout these regions. We work to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas and we aim to make Vestas Central Europe the best place to work.
Responsibilities
- Support Service Operational Manager and Team Leads in daily operations and task execution follow up
- Oversee the Technicians daily work output, to assure maintenance and repair standards
- Meet quality, cost, and delivery goals established by Service needs and targets
- Ensure compliance to rules, procedures, and processes established by safety, service and system reporting (work permits, FR forms, safety alerts, etc.)
- Perform aspects of solving problems related to repairs, repair disposition, equipment troubleshooting and service
- Support for on-site trouble shooting or coordination if needed
- Act as the liaison with internal departments (i.e. Technical support, P&C, Safety, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with preventive/predictive maintenance inspections and other inspection requirements
- Monitor technician's performance and task execution to ensure effective cost control
- Prepare and conduct briefings on maintenance performance, status, and safety
- Identify problem areas, develop corrective actions and initiate corrective action through Service Manager
- Provide assistance and training to employees in technical skills, operating procedures, and safety practices
- Oversee and supervise in major repairs, retrofits and other special tasks
- Identify and analyze deficiencies in workload and planning
- Support in shadow database maintenance, planning's, different administrative activities
- Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships and serves as role model for other employees
- Be the pusher/facilitator, to the use of all predictive maintenance tools into the respective area
- Support and propose people skills development, competencies and training actions
Qualifications
- A Technical Degree in Electronics/Mechanical Technology plus 6 years of professional experience in Vestas operations centers
- Recommended to have knowledge of and teaching experience with methods for finding and fixing equipment problems, including use of schematic drawings and interpretations
- Ability to take decisions and problem solving, to monitor processes and materials, and to evaluate turbines performance to ensure conformity to service goals and standards
- High contribution to increase efficiency in minor/major work tasks
