Technical Support Professional

The Technical Support Professional is critical for operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by providing expert-level technical support to construction teams, internal stakeholders, and external vendors. This position is responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, implementing solutions, and ensuring functionality of tools and systems. The technical support position collaborates with global and internal teams to manage and complete Engineering Changes as required.
Responsibilities:
• Communicate pertinent information to key stakeholders.
• Identify the need and have the will to collaborate across internal departments to resolve identified technical difficulties.
• Complete and effectively perform most work tasks according to undefined parameters due to complexity of technical matters.
• Implementation of new released tools through Engineering Change Orders (ECO) into packing lists.
• Contribute to approval of ECOs.
• Technical interface between Engineering, Service and Tool Center.
• Perform Bill of Material and parts list reviews.
• Perform Material Master Data clean up and recommendations using ERP systems.
• Other tasks assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors' Degree and/or above, major in Engineering or similar discipline.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience as an Electrical / Mechanical Engineer is beneficial.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma is beneficial.
• Experience in mechanical 3D modeling programs e.g. ProEngineer, SolidWorks or similar.
• Good communication skills in English both written and orally.
• Willing to travel as needed (5-10%)
• Experience in ERP systems or ECN (Engineering Change Notice, SAP is beneficial)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Ability to implement processes to efficiently conduct required tasks.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Ability to interact frequently with others in a professional, respectful manner.
• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to gain a comprehensive technical understanding of Vestas' tools.
• Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with employees at all professional levels.
• Able to handle evolving situations and working under ambiguous circumstances.

Salary $80,000 to $90,000/year depending on experience.
