Process Lead
A Process Lead is responsible for directing and leading their crew in the safe execution of daily production plans and associated support activities, while promoting a positive work environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure team's compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment.
- Translate goals from leadership into tasks and drive completion of daily production schedules.
- Coordinate the allocation of employees, materials, and equipment to optimize output.
- Support Supervisor with company communication.
- Coach team members for continuous improvement in safety practices, quality standards, and schedule adherence.
- Conduct quality checks and lead corrective action exercises.
- Responsible for on-process training of all new team members.
- Provide feedback on team members' performance evaluations.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards through 5S concepts and practices.
- Ensure manufacturing order accuracy.
- Support and incorporate first line preventative maintenance into daily activities.
Qualifications Must Have:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One to three years related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily in process area to a TDR level 4 or above.
- Minimum (1) year experience in process area or previous leadership experience.
- Able to read and interpret documents, generate routine reports, and speak effectively before groups.
- Able to use basic Microsoft Office functionalities and Vestas’ proprietary or subscribed-to computer applications.

Education:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Physical Demands:
- Physical capacities to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk and hear.
- Must occasionally lift and move up to 35 pounds; team lift 70 lbs.
Work Environment:
- Generally exposed to moving mechanical parts within a manufacturing environment.
- Potential exposure to physical hazards due to equipment and machinery.
Salary $24+/hour based on experience
