Location: Remote (optional within the United States), Boston, MA, or Portland, OR

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Offshore Sales Team during the origination, bidding, and negotiations of turbine supply agreements.
  • Arranging, coordinating, and participating in internal and external meetings.
  • Coordinate and track tasks and time schedules
  • Follow up on deliverables from team members and ensure the accuracy and completeness of the reporting and tracking tools for bids and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure that documentation is in line with Vestas internal sales processes.
  • Support internal sales forecasting exercises and other tasks related to internal commercial operations, as well as the development of commercial materials for use internally and with customers.
  • All other responsibilities as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' degree in Business Administration or other related field or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
  • Experience working on large scale business to business projects or international long- term projects
  • Wind experience strongly favored
  • Professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of business units in a global organization.
  • Proven proficiency in analysis and problem solving
  • Ability to develop and facilitate positive relationships among internal leadership and external providers.
  • Solid stakeholder management capabilities
  • Ability to operate effectively in a significant, ever-growing and results-oriented environment; handle constant change with ease and flexibility.
  • Highly organized and able to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.

Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)  
  • Able to complete responsibilities in a timely, professional and quality manner
  • Solve problems methodically, considering the consequences of actions with the business results in mind.
  • Process minded approach and the ability to be solution oriented.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills; able to express oneself clearly.
  • Ability to influence across organizational boundaries / with solid focus on working with & understanding different cultures
  • Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
