The sales department is the harbor for all sales activities around wind turbines in Northern and Central Europe. Responsibilities
As our new Commercial Engineer, you will be responsible to promote onshore sales and business development across Germany, together with a team of highly motivated colleagues. You will do so through:
- Sales Support: Assist the Sales Manager in driving the project forward, incl. preparing internal governance, compiling contract documents, create invoicing, ensuring high data quality on continuous
- Project Management: Own the internal sales process from opportunity identification to order intake and handover to Construction – handling of multiple projects in various stages in parallel.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate across departments—Sales, Construction, Transport, Technical Sales and Supply Chain—to align deliverables and facilitate project progress.
- Sales Opportunity Analysis: Assess project plans and determine optimal turbine type, sourcing, and timing with the Sales Project Team.
- Cost Estimation Configuration: Analyze project costs and configure project builder in ERP systems to prepare pre-calculations based on customer needs.
Qualifications
We believe you can recognize yourself in the following prerequisites:
- Degree in engineering, business, economics or similar.
- Work experience in matrix organizations and complex project environment.
- Organizational and stakeholder skills with ability to project manage sales teamwork in a matrix organization.
- Advanced IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint, and experience with SAP project builder, Primavera, JIRA, Salesforce and/or AGILE.
- Fluency in written and verbal German and English.

Location: Berlin, Germany.
Travel days: Up to 20 days annually.
