The key task is to deploy strategic and operational development of key suppliers in APAC region by performing audits, supplier assessments and leading QSE improvement projects to enforce high supplier performance, zero incidents and reduce the number non-conformities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Supplier assessment and on-boarding approach of new subcontractors Qualification criteria based on risks
  • Deploy the Vestas Quality, Safety and Environment Strategy towards external suppliers under Indirect categories as Construction, Transport and Service
  • Develop supplier quality, capability, and performance topics on behalf and in compliance with regional & global strategy. Create new markets entry strategy & new supplier onboarding ensuring Vestas processes are followed
  • Alignment with KEY stakeholders: Procurement, VPS (Vestas Power Solution), Service, construction, global/regional supply chain and transport
  • Coordinate QSE activities in cases of non-quality performance and incidents with suppliers in line with Vestas requirements
  • Cost of Poor Quality and Non-Conformity Report, Safety Incidents, Work Performance Check, service evaluation
  • Lead and conduct supplier development projects and supplier local initiative, conduct QHSE audits and prepare-present executive reports

 

Qualifications

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 3-5 years hands-on experience on similar position with supplier management, safety & quality focus
  • Experience with supplier management and driving improvement projects on quality, process, and safety area
  • Previous history working in oil & gas, offshore, service or transport business is beneficial Certified auditor/lead auditor ISO, other standards and relevant quality-safety certifications can be beneficial
  • Critical Personality Attributes:Efficient and consistent;Well-organised and well-planned;Personable approach to all levels
  • Fluent English
  • Commitment to honesty, confidentiality, and integrity

 

Competencies

  • Working knowledge in ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001
  • Good project management skills with the ability to deliver complex development projects across the organization
  • Competency in data analytics and good problem-solving skills
  • Able to handle Non-conformity and good knowledge of Root Cause Analysis and able to use key tools e.g. 5 Why, 8D;• Skills of improving supplier development and improvement's projects
  • Good communication skills, oral and written, strong meeting facilitator with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders within an international, collaborative & cross-functional environment
  • Motivated personality, independent learning & critical thinking skills - ability to identify and deliver actionable solutions to complex problems
