Global Procurement is responsible for all procurement activities within Vestas, including managing cross functional category teams, negotiations and contract management, local content supplier development, development of end-2-end cost out initiatives, category strategy development and supplier relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Part of global team for blade bearings and hydraulics on key aspects like: continuous cost out, global footprint, NPI, capacity assurance, etc, with various stakeholders both internally(in the Commodity Management Team) and externally (with suppliers).
• Build a long term relationship with suppliers to ensure that both sides have their core aligned with regards to SQDC.
• Develop suppliers by Business Review Meetings and Supplier Account Plan to continuously improve SQCD performance.
• Guide in fulfilling the KPIs and engage with various stakeholders both at global and region levels to deliver the strategy and key KPIs. have stakeholder communication.
• Supplier base and landscape investigation/screening in order to keep in touch with the latest industry development and ready for developing a new supplier if opportunities arise.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge and exposure to strategic procurement or a degree in either business or engineering
• Extensive experience in significant stakeholder management skills incl. experience with communication on executive level
• Professional communication skills including fluent English skills

• Effective negotiation skills
• Well capable of doing price/cost breakdown analysis and facilitate cost out initiatives with cross functional team
• Result oriented, data and facts driven, but also can think creatively
• Aprofessional and trusted partner with accountability, collaboration and transparency
• Has the ability to understand the whole value chain from the upstream RM to the manufacturing process and the fundamentals of the Vestas business model and then develop the business and partnership accordingly
• Possesses the ability to explore and develop long-term business / functional perspective and strategy
• Direct negotiations/develop negotiation strategies
• Guide others to accomplish an objective and directs others in a way that makes both the process and the objective more cohesive and coherent. have the ability to interact with groups and target audiences including being able to effectively present, receive and understand information in a respectful and concise manner.
• Have stakeholder communication skills, as well as the ability to identify and involve business stakeholders and navigate through agendas. You know stakeholder needs and expectations, and are able to negotiate solutions but also when needed disagrees and question stakeholders respectively.
