Vestas Global Procurement is one of the leading Procurement organizations and is overall responsible for all strategic Procurement activities within Vestas Wind System.

 

Responsibilities

  • Be Supplier Account Manager for a set of suppliers delivering into your area of responsibility
  • Supervise cost out projects supporting Vestas engagement globally
  • Implement direct selection, qualification, negotiation and contracting of and with suppliers
  • Organize stakeholders such as production sites, R&D and suppliers in relation to value chain optimization, cost out plans and complexity reduction
  • Ensure adherence to KPI's set by Global Procurement in regards to safety, quality, cost, delivery, innovation and sustainability
  • Support the global Vestas factories production demand

 

Qualifications

  • The right candidate has bachelor or above degree in mechanical, electronics, or business administration or other relevant majors
  • At least 5 years work experience within Procurement area, better with electronics purchasing experience
  • Good at building relationships with both internal and external partners and communicates at a high level
  • Can adapt to changes and is fast and efficient in the execution phase
  • Type of person who likes to work with people in general and not afraid to reach out both internally and externally in order to achieve goals in meeting KPI's and targets
  • Fluent in English both verbally and writing
  • Experienced IT user (Microsoft Office) especially SAP, Excel, Power Point and generally an easy learner when it comes to ERP systems, data analysis etc.
