Responsibilities

• Report to the Operational Readiness Leader or Site Supervisor
• Conduct timely scheduled maintenance, respond, and troubleshoot turbine-related issues
• Always ensure and promote safe working practices
• Be meticulous, i.e. accurate, detailed, and have good observation skills, follow complex technical instructions in English and improvise, when necessary, in order to complete work efficiently and of the highest standard
• Continuously identify potential troubles in the Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) and consistently contribute to operation improvements to ensure we build a brand worthy of reliable services and standard turbine fleets
• Plan and perform daily work demand based on site work rosters and schedules
• Understand each work scope, read and validate the necessary service work instruction
• Identify required tools and parts for each assigned work
• Responsible for checking availability of all required tools and parts prior to the actual workday
• Conduct regular safety checks of the equipment and tools
• Conduct re-certification of equipment and tools
• Complete tasks timely as agreed with direct manager and supervisor
• Document and convey customer requirements or requests to the direct manager and supervisor
• Consistently participate in Quality, OH&S, and Environmental awareness and requirements
• Participate in the toolbox and the daily work team briefings
• Uphold site safety protocols to all Vestas onsite personnel and visitors
• Promoting and consistently participating in 5S and LEAN

Qualifications

• College graduate
• Having experience in Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Hydraulics would be beneficial
• Not limited, but it is beneficial to have high voltage, operating cranes or forklifts experience
• Has a valid driver's license in the Philippines

Competencies

• High level of safety awareness
• Gaining experience as a wind turbine technician is beneficial
• Able to integrate into onshore/offshore life
• Willingness to travel to other sites when required
• Team-oriented, adjustable, consistent, technically capable
• Valid driving license in the Philippines
• Knowledgeable of MS Office and Soft skills
• English skills in reading/writing (or willingness to try an international environment)
