Responsibilities
- Provide laws and regulations, and other necessary HSE requirements to Operations. Oversee and enhance the company’s management of occupational health, safety, and environmental practices in accordance with legal requirements
- Support occupational health, safety, and environment goal setting of Operation, promote and supervise the internal compliance and effectiveness of the ISO14001 and ISO45001 system;3. Participate in drawing up occupational health, safety, and environment rules and regulations, and safety/environment emergency response plans;
- Develop necessary HSE training and qualification requirements for relevant staff, external contractors, and other relevant personnel, such as national qualification requirements for relevant special operations, internal qualification requirements from the corporation
- Support departments to identify and manage environmental factors, safety, and health risks; Support and supervise the department to implement the emergency response drills.
- Check the occupational health, safety, and environment management status on site, inspect the occupational health, safety, and environment hazards in time, and put forward suggestions for the improvement of occupational health, safety, and environment management
- Cease and rectify practices of unauthorized direction, coercing individuals to undertake risky tasks, and breaching operating protocols.
- Supervise the implementation of the occupational health, safety, and environment corrective actions;
- Participate in and promote major occupational health, safety, and environmental accident investigations, urging to implementation of the improvement plan
- Formulate the requirements of occupational health examination and supervise the completion of the occupational health examination
- Check the qualifications of special PPE, supervise and guide related employees to use it correctly
- Conduct safety awareness training for employees
- Monitor subcontractor compliance with applicable HSE legal and Vestas requirements
Qualifications
- BOSH Certificate- Basic Occupational Safety and Health TOT Training-Training of Trainers
- Loss Control Management and Behavioral Safety
- Incident Management training
- Safety Officer 3(SO) certification
- Pollution control officer certification
- Internal Auditor ISO 14001 and 45001
- Below are the qualifications we are looking for:
- Construction Safety and Health Officer (CSHO)
- NEBOSH
Competencies
- Familiar with safety management systems
- Good communication skills in English
- More than 5 years of experience in HSE management
- Proficient in organizing responsibilities while effectively navigating demanding environments;
- Effective communication skills and stakeholder management;
- Wind industry Construction/service/Warehouse HSE experience
- Chemical management experience and the knowledge
