Vestas core business comprises the development, manufacture, sale, marketing and maintenance of Wind Turbines and we require a coordinated and capable Subcontractor Planner who is enthusiastic about handling both systems and stakeholders to deliver simultaneous projects across the business. Vestas service department for Benelux is a part of Vestas NCE (Northern & Central Europe) is responsible for service and maintenance of the wind turbines.

Responsibilities

  • Efficient planning of subcontractors to ensure an effective execution of all subcontractor work at turbines within the given area, according to the contractual agreements
  • Investigate requirements and plan subcontractor service for scheduled activities for external subcontractor teams in Benelux
  • Coordinate the forecast planned work several weeks in advance to ensure proactive and cost-efficient use of labor, material, and asset
  • Create work permits for subcontractors according to scheduled work.  Administration of all certificates of technicians from subcontractors. Create Purchase Requisitions, verify incoming invoices, confirm payment approval, resolve payment issues where needed
  • Daily direct interface with Subcontractors, Subcontractor Technicians, Inventory Coordinators, Technology, and Customer Service Managers in site planning
  • Escalate issues regarding possible overload and shortage of work to the Site/Field Supervisor, Supervisor and / or Service Manager as appropriate, make recommendations to make effective use of resources

 

Qualifications  

  • At least 2 years' experience in workload planning, ideally gained in a Technical Services or Logistics related service environment
  • Extensive experience with MS office, especially Excel
  • Proven ability to analyze numerical data and identify trends
  • Verball and written fluency in English
  • Dutch language proficiency
  • SAP experience beneficial
