Purpose and reason for the existence of the job

The purpose of the Master scheduling function is to act as a sub-regional partner, to continuously improve planning and scheduling to ensure optimal levelled service activities.

 

Responsibilities:

 

When taking on the responsibilities of a Master Scheduler, you can expect to play an important role in the cross departmental communication within Vestas NCE.

You should therefore expect the following responsibilities:

  • Support capacity planning process, drill down FTE allocation to areas, skill based requirements, monitor subcontractor usage & lent in/out resources
  • Support Global Planning & Scheduling project implementation in local planning teams
  • Requirements gathering, gap analysis, within the Master Scheduler scope, to provide enhancement input to the Regional / Global organization
  • Validate and maintain capacity forecast through turbine mapping and overall CAPLA
  • Structured reporting to relevant management levels (dashboards & reports).
  • Ensure optimal levelling of scheduled service activities (maintenance plans).
  • Sharing best practice between planning teams
  • Closely collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure CIM execution timelines and review resource requirements

 

Qualifications

 

You will be interfacing with many different people, from many different backgrounds and departments. we believe that for you to be able to deliver quality in your work, you should be able to identify yourself in the following:

 

  • 3 years of experience from a role from a larger organization with a focus on cross-departmental interfacing
  • Effective stakeholder management skills; this position is very heavy in the interface section, and you should expect to have a vast interface in the organization
  • Good IT skills and experience with Sales Force and SAP knowledge
  • Experience in a cross-functional, international setting and understand team dynamics
  • You possess extensive English skills both orally and in writing.
  • Experience in handling smaller development / improvement projects
