Vestas Factory

Vestas Blades Logistic & Planning is a well experienced function within the Vestas Supply Chain. We are overall responsible for all Supply Chain activities with focus into our different Manufacturing Units, being part of cross-functional Module teams, Value creation initiatives, Module strategy development and implementation from Supply Chain perspective.

Our Logistic department is globally responsible to ensure and optimize all our Supply Chain with focus into our own Global Blades Production Units and external partners considering ramp-up & down or readiness due to NPI projects.

 

Responsibilities

 

You will become a part of a Global experienced team working within a Matrix organization supporting our Blade factories to make sure we stay within our targets and secure that we are able to deliver on our production plans and customer deliveries.

You will be part of NPI projects to secure solid ramp up & down plans as well as gatekeep on readiness of logistic setup, do high stake RISK mitigation management by establishing supply chain overview (line of balance), highlight bottlenecks and secure involvement from relevant stakeholders, make action plans and follow plans.

Supporting continues development of our supply chain by identifying requirements at Global Factories and working on solutions with our stakeholders, improving business processes, flow, and reducing cost is of essence to optimize business for the future.

• Support and optimize the Supply Chain process together with relevant stakeholders.

• Support the Lean Supply Chain Change Globally.

• Evaluate purchasing, planning and warehousing set up to ensure a smooth and controlled Supply Chain.

• Implements continue improvement activities to ensure Vendor development.

• Incoming Material flow optimization ensuring proper Inventory level.

• Global Logistics roadmap implementation.

• Ensure that phase in/out is controlled and obsolete avoidance.

 

Qualifications

 

• Bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or logistics, Industrial/Manufacturing environment is valued

• Experience in managing supplier relationships and implementing supply chain improvements & PULL Concept into Supply Chain

• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analysis tools

• Knowledge and experience in using different Lean Tools Box

• Relevant certifications such as CPM, APICS, CPSM, or CIPS are desirable

• Fluent in English as daily working language.

• Good level on problem solving and Risk Management to ensure Supply Chain

• Negotiation and teamwork skills.

• High knowledge in Lean strategies and PULL concept in within Supply Chain.

• Team & activities coordination capacity and leadership skills

• High level on accountability and result-oriented

• Work under time sensitive environments and committed to continuous improvement.

• High level in Excel usage.
