The Service Department, responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of wind turbines installed across France, is looking for an Energy Control Coordinator Lead (ECC Lead).

For this position, we are primarily looking for a candidate with a strong regulatory background, ideally coming from inspection, verification, or certification organizations such as Dekra, Socotec, Apave, or equivalent. The successful candidate will have solid knowledge of industrial environments and an excellent understanding of applicable French regulations and standards, particularly regarding electrical safety, mechanical safety, and the control of hazardous energy through Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Key Responsibilities

The ECC Lead holds a strategic role within the organization and may be responsible for several countries. The main responsibilities include:

  • Develop and validate Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures for all complex operations within their area of responsibility.
  • Lead the ECC community in France as part of the deployment and continuous improvement of the LOTO program.
  • Manage the program deployment plan and provide regular reporting to Service Management.
  • Provide guidance and support to ECCs, LOTO3 personnel, and individuals responsible for overseeing on-site activities.
  • Authorize, within their area of responsibility, the use of specific LOTO procedures that deviate from established standards.
  • Conduct inspections related to electrical safety and LOTO procedures, and lead the associated quality audit process.
  • Participate in investigations and analyses of incidents involving hazardous energy, including LIFE and TRI events.
  • Contribute, as an expert or consulted party, to the annual reviews of local electrical safety programs where applicable.

Candidate Profile

This position requires strong technical expertise in electrical safety, an excellent understanding of French regulatory requirements, and the ability to lead projects, bring teams together, and drive change within industrial organizations.

The successful candidate must be comfortable working in English and willing to travel throughout the country.

Compensation

Salary: Depending on experience, between €36,000 and €38,000 gross annually.
