Vestas Factory

Region NCE and Global Offshore > NCE > Supply Chain, Repair & Tools

North & Central Europe is Vestas’ largest region globally, and within our Service Supply Chain, Repair, and Tools organization we are looking for an analytically strong and commercially minded Performance Management Specialist (Manager) to help improve transport cost, delivery performance, and decision-making across the region. This is not a traditional transport operations role. Instead, the position focuses on performance management, data-driven improvement initiatives, stakeholder alignment, and structured project execution. Reporting directly to the Head of Service Supply Chain, Repair, and Tools for Northern and Central Europe, you will play a critical role in translating transport performance insights into actions that improve the wider supply chain. Furthermore, in this Manager level position you will become part of the Northern and Central European Service Supply Chain and Tools Management Group and work in a team of highly skilled and motivated business leaders on manager, senior manager, and director level.

Responsibilities

  • As Transport Performance Management Specialist you will among other things be responsible for:
  • Analyzing transport delivery performance and translating insights into concrete improvement initiatives
  • Driving transport cost transparency, benchmarking, and optimization opportunities
  • Creating a structured link between regional performance needs and global distribution and transport processes

Qualifications

To be qualified for this role, you ideally have:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Data Analytics, or a related analytical field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience from consulting, business development, supply chain analytics, performance management, or a similar analytical role
  • A strong analytical toolbox and a structured, fact-based approach to solving business problems
  • The ability to identify improvement opportunities, build clear business cases, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and translating complex analysis into clear recommendations
  • Experience in performance management, project management, and working with data to support decision-making
  • A general understanding of transport, logistics, or supply chain flows is an advantage, but deep operational transport experience is not a prerequisite
  • English language skills at negotiation level

Competencies

  • In addition to the qualifications listed above, we are looking for someone who:
  • Is highly structured, curious, and able to break down complex problems into clear actions
  • Has a proactive, consulting-oriented mindset and enjoys creating clarity in areas with limited structure
  • Can combine analytical thinking with practical business understanding and strong stakeholder management skills
  • Can lead, structure, and deliver cross-functional improvement projects from analysis to implementation
  • Balances quality and deadlines, prioritizes effectively, and adapts quickly when new information changes the direction
  • Communicates clearly and factually, with the ability to turn analysis into compelling recommendations for colleagues and management

What we offer

We offer a collaborative and informal work culture, where teamwork is key. You will work in an exciting industry alongside highly motivated colleagues and have an opportunity to shape how we use data, analytics, and structured improvement methods to strengthen transport performance in Northern and Central Europe.

Within Vestas you will get the opportunity to develop your professional and personal skills within a global company with colleagues located all over the world. If you are ready for a new opportunity, then we would like to hear from you.
