Nacelle Manufacturing Test delivers fully integrated, turn-key Test solutions for internal and external Vestas factories ensuring the highest standard of Safety, Quality and operational excellence. The team define, maintain, and govern product configurations across manufacturing value chain. Nacelle Manufacturing Test bridge factories, R&D, Digital Solution and Construction ensuring that the entire value chain is considered when setting up strategies for testing.
The department consist of approximately 40 skilled Software, Automation and Hardware Engineers in Denmark and India.

 

Responsibilities

  • Scope new projects, create resource estimates and secure that resources are allocated from the line organization
  • Lead multiple technical projects supporting manufacturing test solutions and production readiness
  • Drive implementation and deployment of test solutions across manufacturing sites
  • Collaborate closely with Manufacturing PE, R&D, Quality, and factory stakeholders globally
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and to the required safety and quality standards
  • Support industrialization, tech transfers and new product introduction activities
  • Manage project risks, dependencies, resource needs, and stakeholder expectations and contribute to continuous improvement and manufacturing transformation initiatives across the organization

 

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex technical or engineering projects
  • Degree in Engineering or another relevant technical discipline
  • Experience working within manufacturing, aerospace, defense, medical device, renewable energy, or similar industries
  • Knowledge of testing, verification, quality assurance, and quality control processes
  • Experience working in safety-critical or highly regulated environments
  • Experience in Industrial Leadership
  • PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, or comparable project management certification is an advantage
