Step into a key leadership position where you will guide and grow a team of 20–30 HSE professionals, advancing Excellence in safety across offshore operations. This role carries significant responsibility and calls for effective remote leadership, the ability to work collaboratively across teams, and a commitment to building a positive safety culture. You will play a central role in ensuring safe execution across complex projects while supporting and inspiring a diverse, distributed team. Offshore experience is especially beneficial, since you’ll work in a demanding environment where your contributions directly affect outcomes.
Region NCE and Global Offshore > Global Offshore > OFS HSE Professionals Team 1
Our team consists of both onshore and offshore HSE professionals.
We provide alignment and support across all CPX projects in NCE, with a clear focus on safety, health, welfare, and environmental standards. The team is responsible for managing HSE resources, operational activities, and key initiatives to ensure the safe execution of projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of internal and external HSE professionals
- Embed Vestas’ culture, values, and strategy into ways of working
- Allocate HSE resources effectively, ensuring the right skills and training in collaboration with Construction Supplier & Resource Management
- Maintain close communication with team members to build alignment and performance
- Place clear emphasis on safety, health, welfare, and environmental standards
- Promote and continuously improve a positive safety culture across projects
- Capture and share lessons learned across projects to support continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in Health, Safety, and Environment, within wind operations or a similar industry
- Experience in people management, ideally including remote leadership
- IGC NEBOSH or IOSH or equivalent
- RCA or TapRroot will be advantage
- Profession IT skills (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in English
- Full, valid driving licence

Additional information
Primary work location: Aarhus or Warrington. Expected travel: approximately 60 to 80 days per year.
