To put it short: Vestas Power Solutions develops the wind power systems of the future. Control & Auxiliary Power is connecting most of the single functions in the turbine and providing the control and infrastructure that is at the core of the turbine. 

You will be part of the Control & Auxiliary Power development team part of the Applications, Controls & Electrical module going across the organization to cover all interfaces in regards to auxiliary power and integration of the control system. It is a position that will give you a original overview of how the different parts of the turbine work together. You will gain a broad knowledge of the different functions in the turbine and be involved in areas that includes industrial control panels, cables, sensors, actuators, electromechanical systems, and control functions. You will also be involved in the development and integration of innovative solutions that will keep Vestas as the leader within sustainable energy solutions. 



  • Maintain interfaces between the industrial control panels, turbine control system and the surrounding systems such as sensors, actuators, converter system, pitch control, functional safety etc.
  • You will be part of identifying and specifying interfaces between systems
  • You will be coordinating and moving system engineering/integration in Control & Auxiliary Power
  • You will be part of breaking product level requirements down to module and sub-module level requirements, plan and identify verification and validation activities
  • Maintain and develop work processes ensure a transparent and valid overview of interfaces 
  • Contributing to technology development projects to develop new or expanded functionality 



  • You have a B.Sc or M.Sc degree within a relevant field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with system engineering/integration/implementation
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems



  • An ability to work with no supervision and to establish good working relations is essential
  • Outgoing personality
  • Significant communication skills both orally and in written English
  • Good at coordinating and following-up
  • Understanding of control system software and network topologies
  • Understanding complex systems and organize them in a structured way 
  • Knowledge of system and concurrent engineering principles would be useful
