The Global Offshore SIOP team (Sales, Inventory & Operational Planning), in Global Service Supply Chain is a small, highly motivated team of Supply Chain & SIOP Specialists who plan and supervise the monthly SIOP activities including delivery service and inventory optimization across the Global Supply Chain & Regions in Vestas’ Service Division. The activities are key to improve business performance by running a best-in-class Supply Chain that is a competitive advantage to Vestas.

As you will be participating in shaping this role and the future of how the department approaches Supply Chains you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following

  • In union with your SIOP colleagues you will align and direct the monthly SIOP activities, and the S&OP sign off with the contemporary Supply Chain and Vestas’ regional business units
  • Coordinate Root Cause Analysis and close follow up on KPI’s in collaboration with the regional and global supply chain teams. You should also expect to be part of defining new and appropriate KPI’s for your team
  • Lead weekly coordination calls to understand the contemporary status of the supply chain, to assist you in realizing improvement potential and ensure best in class supply chain performance
  • Investigate improvement potential in end-to-end supply chain and steer development activities across the global supply chain organization, including regional stakeholders

  • Constant exploration of best practices in supply chain planning
  • Emphatic team-oriented person across cultures and disciplines
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, LEAN or similar
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain and experience with the planning aspects
  • Experience from the wind power business or similar service business is not a prerequisite, but a big plus
  • Effective experience in Matrix organizations with the ability to communicate professionally in both verbal and written skills in English
  • Excellent Excel working skills and SAP working knowledge majorly in Material Management, Demand Planning & Forecasting and APO

  • Demonstrate a high degree of analytics proficiency with ability to both deep dive and at the same time keep high level perspective. As this position is very heavy in data and numbers you should be comfortable and find it interesting to work with heavy data sets
  • Good understanding of IT systems and business
  • Willing to question current state with aspiration for world class supply chain

Additional information
For this position you will be based out of our offices in Aarhus N, DK. You should expect up to 15 days of travel a year for various reasons.
