To enhance our responsible sourcing and compliance efforts by implementing and managing supply chain due diligence processes aligned with the OECD 6-step methodology. We are currently looking for a new colleague, who can support the integration of ESG assessments as part of our new Supplier Life Cycle Management framework into supplier onboarding and monitoring, ensuring alignment with upcoming regulatory requirements such as the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) and other applicable regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operationalize supply chain due diligence processes based on the OECD 6-step framework
- You will play a key role in ensuring ESG assessment of new suppliers as part of the Vestas onboarding process, which is a cross functional framework, and ensure that a certain threshold is met ensuring responsible sourcing
- Support the recent implementation and continuous integration of 3rd-party platforms, which are used for assessment and monitoring purposes
- Ensure ESG assessments as part of supplier onboarding, evaluate responses, and support the development and follow-up of corrective action plans and mitigation strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally, while ensuring high quality data used for measuring our ESG targets/KPIs
- Stay updated on regulatory developments (e.g. CSDDD) and ensure internal processes remain compliant
- Contribute to audit readiness and support supplier audits planning and evaluation in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Proven experience with supply chain due diligence and responsible sourcing and performing audits. Experiences from the industrial industry would be a valuable add-on for this role
- Strong knowledge of the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Business Conduct as well as the UN Guiding Principles and various sustainability assessment platforms
- Experience with supplier engagement, risk mitigation, and corrective action planning
- Experience with Change Management
- Excellent proficiency in English is a must, whereas proficiency in Chinese is considered a strong asset
