PPC Controls is an R&D house and part of Vestas Technology & Operations. In PPC Controls, We are bridging the needs and requirements of the Transmission Systems Operators (TSO) with the capabilities of our Hybrid Power Plants by developing advanced Power Plant Control algorithms.

The team is a Global team with Engineers in Denmark and Portugal. We collaborate very closely with our department in Chennai, India and our value chain to deliver effectively on projects.

 

Responsibilities

We offer a very vibrant environment to develop & a learning environment for the new engineering students to gain some more technical experience during their education.

  • Have the opportunity to design new control algorithms to improve the Power Plant Controller functionality
  • Possibility to design & implement control solutions in model-based design using MATLAB/Simulink
  • Get the opportunity to work on new technologies, within the Power System domain 
  • Opportunity to work with advance control system theories i.e, Adaptive Control and Model Predictive Control (MPC) among others

 

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled at a Danish university, at the end of your Bachelor's or beginning of your Master's
  • Degree in electrical engineering specialising in power systems, control systems, data science etc.
  • Data-focused approach to solving problems
  • Good cultural understanding & international working experience
  • Keen interest in product/technology development, project management or related areas
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English
