The main purpose of the New Product Master is to ensure that design and process risks are mapped and mitigated throughout the entire development project. To ensure that all risk has been facilitated, you will participate in early development and scoping of projects, until prototype productions. 
You will become part of the Manufacturing Readiness Tower, Electrical & Simulation team, where you will become one of the first in the team to have a main focus on working with Siemens Teamcenter Manufacturing.


Your main tasks will include:

  • Guide optimization and standardization of project management methodology with linkage to department strategy and capacities
  • Engage with the management team in Project Management and the project managers to ensure readiness at department level to adapt to new ways of working with project initiation and execution - Direct, define and develop strategic initiatives within project management area with linkage to cross functional Vestas strategic targets
  • Ensure communication and change management activities during deployment of new standards to project environment - both in the team and across other business units
  • Facilitate and collect lessons learned in projects in VPS for continuous improvement of project management standards
  • Develop training sessions and train and facilitate the organisation in usage of new processes, activities, and templates. Train the organisation in Vestas Way to Market Awareness and The Project Execution Model, including continuously develop modules together with related functions to ensure full values chain focus
  • Direct optimization and deployment of changes to Project Management work area in Vestas Way to Market an ensure administration and maintenance of department team sites and action logs in order to secure data availability for Management, Project Managers and project environment
  • Execute Virtual OSOS (Virtual Assembly process validation - DFx) with no supervision by adhering to the standards, guidelines and processes. Execution process - includes:  To collect & understand the required inputs, Execute / support EBOM to MBOM Creation, Tool Selection, Virtual time study, Virtual assembly process validation (DFx ) both static & dynamic simulation with respect to the interaction between product, process, Tools  and facility details,  facility validation, Identification of the build issues, generation of the solution from Design / process change perspective,  stakeholder update and secure implementation of the solution into the product/process design. Collaborating with various value chain stakeholders, Engineering Development, COO, Modules, Construction, Service and others for profitable product build



  • High level of proficiency in DFx guidelines per regulatory standards specific to various geographical regions
  • Experience to work in Agile methodology environment
  • Documented history of delivering one stop solution with the vision of eliminating / significantly reducing the build issues



  • Good Leadership and influencing capabilities within a matrix organization
  • Know how to handle your stakeholders efficiently by building and maintaining relations
  • Hands-on experience in Digital Manufacturing technology suite of product (preferably Siemens Teamcenter Manufacturing / Technomatics suite) with focus on solutions
  • CAD Design Experience in PTC Creo/Catia and ability to handle all types of CAD data translation 
  • Speak and write English at a professional level any additional languages is welcomed
