Region NCE and Global Offshore > Global Offshore > Main Component Exchange

 

The Main Component Exchange department is responsible for ensuring a high-quality customer experience when completing main component exchange projects for our customers, supporting service sites in executing special campaigns and internal project support within department.
The department is part of the Offshore Service organization in the Vestas NCE Region. Here you become part of a professional team of >500 colleagues who daily work on delivering Offshore Services to our trusted customers. This includes everything from strategy work, operational improvement, Health & Safety, technical case handling to delivering the services on the wind turbines offshore.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Operational Execution & Resource Coordination: Manage core offshore and project operations, ensuring teams have the required tools, materials, documentation, skills, and training, while serving as the central coordination link between the project organization and the Project Manager
  • Leadership & Performance Management: Provide operational leadership by setting expectations for safety, quality, planning, and execution, supported by clear communication, follow up, and coaching
  • Technical & Service Order Planning: Manage the technical planning of service orders and ensure accurate, timely lifecycle management, including creation, updates, monitoring, and closure, to support efficient operational delivery
  • Asset & Logistics Management: Oversee timely and high quality management of vessels, resources, tools, and materials, ensuring readiness and alignment with operational requirements
  • Documentation, Compliance & Mobilization: Own all project documentation and operational planning to ensure accuracy and compliance, and, with Project Manager approval, supervise vessel mobilization and demobilization

 

Qualifications

 

  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience working within the wind industry
  • Advanced knowledge of construction/service management processes, models and methods as well as process safety standards and local legislation
  • Ability to obtain and hold GWO and country specific Construction Medical check certification
  • Proficient in Office 365 and SAP, with solid IT literacy
  • Fluent in the English language, both spoken and written

Additional information

 

Your primary work location will be Aarhus, Denmark, could also be Warrington, GB.
You should expect some travel activity within NCE, approximately 90 days per year.
