The User Productivity & Collaboration team stays in touch with stakeholders from all over Vestas to keep up with business requirements as they appear and develop. Based on these insights and relationships, we work with the stakeholders to provide them with great productivity tools which empower them to succeed with their work while also allowing us to serve as many stakeholders as possible from the same platform. We take responsibility for our solutions and interact directly with users, development teams and daily operations to know what is going on and proactively steer everything in the right direction when this is needed. We also ensure continuous improvement and utilization of our environment to maximize value and reduce risk, while maintaining full focus on business needs.
Vestas is a constantly changing organization, so there are always new opportunities appearing which put you in play for ensuring that we have technology, solutions, and an organizational setup, which will support the business need for small and medium sized applications and collaboration spaces. To that end, User Productivity and Collaboration is now looking to fill a position for a SharePoint Specialist.
 

Responsibilities
You will work closely together with architects, consultants, developers, supporters, and external vendors to design, implement, communicate, and onboard users to standard and customized solutions usable for ad hoc collaboration and business applications. 

• Engage with business stakeholders at all levels to learn what their work at Vestas is about and what they need help with.
• Use your business insight and understanding of requirements to technically design a solution fulfilling documented requirements for new or changed ad hoc collaboration tools and business applications using primarily native SharePoint features but supplemented with SharePoint apps, Power App components, and other Microsoft 365 solution parts, when appropriate. 
• Engage, manage, and drive initiatives with external vendors to implement technical components to support business needs. 
• Technically review deliverables from vendors and associated partners.
• Manage and develop roadmaps and governance ensuring valuable results from use of technology.
• Receive ad hoc work and requests, where for some you need to work on the edge of your formal area of responsibility and for others you need to do a graceful handover to colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience with stakeholder engagement from a similar position or as a consultant.
• Experience with technical development in SharePoint Online.
• Experience with Microsoft platforms on all levels, from setting up a SharePoint site manually to solution development using Microsoft 365 and Azure stack.
• Knowledge of all Microsoft 365 suite tools (Stream, Lists, Forms, Search, Planner, etc.) as well as technical development in SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams.
• Knowledge of and technical development in Azure components (Functions, Docker, Logic Apps, SQL and more).
• Knowledge of the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Knowledge of development environments and practices (Visual studio, code, etc.) as well as various tools used for generic collaboration.

• Desire and motivation to provide excellent IT service to users less tech savvy than you.
• Ability to talk to people at all levels – both colleagues, managers, suppliers and especially users. 
• Ability to quickly pick up knowledge on new features/processes/requirements and adapt fast to change.
• Being amazed by technology and want to investigate all of it.
