You will be part of the Service Organization in Vestas Service Offshore NCE.
We are currently looking for a Service Technician for the new V236-15MW and V164 Turbines, located both onshore and offshore.
This is an opportunity to work mainly on the V236 at our Test facility in Thyborøn but also supporting projects across the organization, with a mandate to facilitate knowledge sharing and provide expertise on specialized tasks related to the new V236 Platform.
Furthermore, you will be supporting test, verification, and service work on our existing Onshore V164 Test Turbines in Esbjerg + Horns Rev 3 V164 offshore Turbines.
Responsibilities
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
- The tasks include testing, routine checks, maintenance of the electrical and mechanical systems, and significant component replacements
- Compliance with Vestas Health and Safety Management system Electrical and mechanical operations
- Maintaining and upgrading installation activities, carrying out a diversity of check-ups, repairs and replacement activities of turbine components
- Responsible for operation of our turbines and use of our systems like Condition Monitoring / Remote Control
- Use mobile apps and SAP to register task, material, time etc.
Qualifications
- Completed electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school/college/university i.e. Marine Engineer or similar
- Relevant professional experience (electrical or mechanical) and preferably previous experience as a WTG Technician/ Lead Technician/Trouble shooter, Commissioning Supervisor or similar or you have a relevant background from the Wind Business or similar
- Good Danish and English skills, both written and spoken
- Basic knowledge of MS Office
- B driver license
- Comfortable working at heights, coping with the respective challenges this brings

Additional information
Location: Mainly the test facility in Thyborøn, Denmark but the role is a travelling role supporting projects across the organization. There are a few different possible work rotations that will be discussed further in the process.
