This positioning operates from a shore-based facility in the Port of Esbjerg, with daily crew transfers to the Offshore Wind Farm Horns Reef 3, which consists of 49 x V164 wind turbines. Furthermore, the role also includes support for our 4 x V164 Maade turbine in the harbour area in Esbjerg.
You will play a key role within our Service Team. The position follows a 7/7 rotation with working hours from 06:00 to 18:30, Monday to Sunday during the service season. In the low season, Sundays are on call. Occasional travel to other Vestas Offshore sites for support, training, and knowledge sharing may also be required.

Responsibilities
As a Service Technician your main responsibilities is to perform service, trouble shooting and ad hoc task to keep our fleet of turbines perform to excellence. You will work closely together with the service team and our back-office team to support our operations This is a dynamic role that requires a positive, proactive and problem-solving mindset. The Service Technicians in Vestas Offshore are working in teams of 2 or 3, managed daily by the site Supervisor.
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
- The task includes routine checks, maintenance of the electrical and mechanical systems, and significant component replacement on our offshore wind turbines
- Compliance with Vestas Health and Safety Management system Electrical and mechanical operations
- Maintaining and upgrading installation activities, carrying out a diversity of check-ups, repairs and replacement activities of turbine components
- Responsible for operation of our turbines and use of our systems like Condition Monitoring / Remote Control
- Use mobile apps to register task, material, time etc.
Qualifications
At the professional level, it is desired that you have:
- Completed electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience (electrical or mechanical) and preferably offshore and/or with high voltage preferred within renewables
- Good English skills in reading / writing, basic knowledge of MS Office and cat B driver license
- Comfortable working offshore and at heights, coping with the respective challenges this brings
- A team player and not afraid of new tasks
