Global Service Commercial & Products is responsible for ensuring the long-term profitability and competitiveness of the Service business by shaping what we sell, how we sell it, and how we continuously improve our commercial and product capabilities. We operate at the intersection of market opportunity, operational feasibility, and financial performance, partnering closely with regional and global stakeholders to ensure alignment between commercial ambitions and execution realities.
 Within this area, Product Governance and Lifecycle Management’s mission is to continuously optimize the business value of the product portfolio throughout its lifecycle in Service. We do this by objectively and holistically evaluating product business performance, defining and executing portfolio-level and product-specific lifecycle strategies, ensuring accurate and trusted product information, and proactively managing product phase-out. This ensures resources are allocated to the right products at the right time, maximizing customer, business, and EBIT impact.

 

Responsibilities

In this role, you will   be responsible for defining product strategies for already launched products across the Service business:

  • Define and maintain product  strategies  for products already in Operations (not new product development)
  • Translate strategies into clear scope, deliverables, and execution plans across Sales, Product Development, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain
  • Establish and drive a structured review cadence, ensuring alignment with market dynamics and business priorities
  • Identify and prioritize product phase-out opportunities based on performance and strategic fit
  • Supervise execution of lifecycle decisions, including product exits and end-of-life activities
  • Contribute to the development of commercial offerings, including end-of-life and transition-related services
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and ensure strong stakeholder alignment across a matrix organization
  • Support the evolution of product management practices, governance frameworks, and decision-making processes

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we expect you to bring strong product management experience combined with commercial understanding:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related field
  • Approximately 10 years of experience in product management
  • Proven experience working with complex product landscapes and established portfolios
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle frameworks
  • Experience with commercial strategies, business case development, product performance evaluation, and financial analysis
  • Understanding of operations, supply chain, and service delivery constraints
  • Certification or experience in change management (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) Experience from the wind industry, renewable energy, or industrial sector is highly desirable. Understanding of wind industry market is required

Location: Aarhus or Copenhagen, Denmark
