If you are passionate about building software solutions, leading software architecture for large and complex systems, and promoting best‑practice development, this role is for you.

We are looking for a capable technical leader with the stakeholder management skills needed to navigate a challenging and fast‑paced business environment.

Vestas Technology & Operations > Research & Development (R&D) > Technical Management

Vestas Technology & Operations (VTO) is the integrated CTO and COO organization within Vestas, encompassing the full industrial value chain — from Research & Development, Procurement and Manufacturing to Supply Chain and Quality. VTO’s mission is to transform the way Vestas engineers, sources, contracts, manufactures and delivers its products to consistently meet the highest standards for quality, cost efficiency and time-to-market.

The Product Applications and Controls R&D (PAC) is a team of skilled designers, engineers, and project managers located primarily in India, Portugal, and Denmark. Together, they bring diverse technical expertise that drives the development of advanced software solutions supporting plant development, plant operations, and turbine products.

PAC specializes in creating and delivering software that enhances system performance and ensures seamless integration across the value chain. Through a commitment to model-based systems engineering principles, the team consistently develops solutions that consider the holistic lifecycle of Vestas products and processes—always guided by the mindset of prioritizing what is best for Vestas.

Driven by innovation and a passion for excellence, the PAC team plays a pivotal role in advancing industry‑leading software capabilities. Their philosophy— “it starts with us, and it ends with us”—reflects their ownership and accountability in delivering high‑quality solutions that strengthen Vestas' leadership in the renewable energy sector.
