The Nacelle Project Management Department consists of 20+ highly skilled and qualified project managers and planners at three different sites (India, Portugal, and Denmark). The department is responsible for the portfolio management and implementation of projects in the Nacelle Module, where we have 250+ employees. We are responsible for the full lifecycle of the product, and therefore projects can be both technology projects and new product development projects to support the operational part of the business.
The Nacelle Module is primarily developing structural and mechanical components but is having close collaboration with the product, several other modules, and the entire value chain.
Responsibilities
- Become Program Manager for Technology, Module Excellence, Modularization, and Product Value in the Nacelle Module in Nacelle R&D
- Technology roadmap and business improvement planning and implementation within the Nacelle Module together with Technical Management
- Make the Nacelle Segment a reliable solution provider to the business; you will be responsible for Nacelle Module and Segment Excellence. You shall ensure that the projects have the right framework to meet their goals, facilitate continuous improvement, and ensure the implementation of lessons learned in all projects
- Support technical management, architecture, and the sub-modules with modularization and architecture initiatives, which will be the foundation for the technology and module roadmap
- To increase product competitiveness, you will be responsible for generating and maturing a pipeline of cost-out or performance improvement ideas with life cycle management, other modules, and the value chain to reduce both direct purchase and operational costs. The ideas will be carried out in the onshore or offshore programs.
- Daily management of the project managers in your team includes overseeing recruitment, onboarding, team well-being, and people development
Qualifications
- Diploma or Master level education within a relevant academic field (e.g. Engineering or Business)
- Minimum 10 years of solid background in Project, Program and Portfolio Management of medium- to high-complexity R&D projects coupled with a high degree of wind turbine business and value chain understanding
- Extensive experience in Integrated Product Development, adept at facilitating optimal compromises across the value chain
- Ability to manage complex programs and projects within a global matrix organization, often under high uncertainty, involving numerous stakeholders from all areas of the value chain
- Skilled in stakeholder management and proficient in reporting to senior management
- Advanced language skills (verbal and written) in English are required

The primary work location will be in Aarhus, Denmark.
