Vestas Research and Development drives innovation in wind energy, creating products and technologies that deliver maximum value to customers and support global carbon reduction. Within Vestas Technology & Operations, the Onshore Products team develops our most competitive onshore turbine generations. Responsibilities
- Define and manage business cases, budgets, scope, schedules, resources, and risk strategies
- Establish project controls, governance, and compliance with Vestas standards
- Lead stage-gate processes and ensure timely project progression
- Monitor and control project performance, including cost, quality, and resource allocation
- Ensure stakeholder engagement and maintain strong, trust-based relationships
- Oversee risk management, quality assurance, and issue resolution across projects
- Ensure smooth handover to Manufacturing and Service teams
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field
- We prefer Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, or equivalent
- 8-10 years in project management, including 3-5 years in senior leadership roles
- History of accomplishing major, complex projects within established timelines and budgetary limits
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
