Our Global Service PMO is a powerhouse of project and implementation managers promoting innovation across Global Service in Vestas. With team members spread across continents and cultures, you will be part of a skilled and collaborative environment where ideas turn into action.
As a Senior Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in one of Vestas' most strategic transformation initiatives: improving our ability to manage service costs across the entire service lifecycle. Working closely with the Transformation Lead, you'll help build and scale solutions on top of our Service Operating Model, ensuring alignment across functions and geographies.
Responsibilities
You'll lead large-scale, cross-functional projects from concept to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget. Your first major assignment will be a key transformation initiative focused on service cost transparency and optimization.
- Managing the end-to-end project lifecycle for strategic cost transformation initiatives
- Support definition of scope, goals, and success metrics with senior stakeholders
- Building and managing detailed project plans and resource allocations
- Stakeholder engagement and change management across global functions
- Reporting progress, risks, and insights to executive leadership
- Championing project management best practices and mentoring peers
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Finance, Business or related fields
- Proven Senior Project Management experience and preferably experience in driving complex improvement projects across IT, Finance and Business
- Experience with driving large scale change management projects across regions
- Proven ability to drive stakeholder collaboration and change management effectively across cultures, connecting end-users, subject matter experts and senior management

- Experienced communicator with skills in stakeholder management and building bridges through facilitating cross-functional collaboration
