We are seeking an experienced SAFe Program/Value Stream Manager to join our product development team.

As the SAFe Value Stream Manager, you will play a crucial role in orchestrating and maintaining the Value Streams together with the Product Manager, the Product Architect, and the Release Train Engineer.

 

Responsibilities

  • Implement and continuously improve Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles and practices within the Value Streams, leading and overseeing the overall SAFe value stream to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize value stream goals and key results
  • Work closely with the Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to ensure effective delivery of customer value
  • Foster collaboration and communication across cross-functional teams within and across value streams
  • Remove impediments and facilitate problem-solving to ensure smooth execution
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to value stream delivery, utilizing metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization
  • Identify and mitigate risks that may impact the value stream's delivery schedule or quality, implementing proactive risk management strategies to ensure effective outcomes
  • Maintain a culture of continuous improvement within the value stream, implementing feedback loops and retrospectives to identify areas for enhancement

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience with stakeholder management in a global context
  • SAFe certification is highly desirable
  • Experience with scaled agile or other agile methods
  • Experience with a global matrix organization is desirable

 

Competencies

  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills are needed to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Proven experience as a SAFe Value Stream Manager or in a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of agile software product development and its application in complex organizational structures
  • Experience in using Agile and Lean principles to optimize value stream delivery
  • Solid English communication skills, both verbal and written

 

 What We Offer

You will be in a central position in our product development, with a high influence on product development and close engagement with stakeholders on all corporate levels.

You will have a high influence on your work planning with our technology headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark; alternatively, our technology hub is located in Porto, Portugal.
