Head of Plant Product Market Strategy (onshore)

In a highly competitive and globalised market, Onshore Product Market Strategy sets the direction for future commercial product offerings, making sure that Vestas always has the right products to stay ahead of competitors while ensuring market access. Onshore Product Market Strategy has a global reach into our sales regions.


In everything we do, we have a commercial and customer-oriented approach. We are measured on the impact our products have on Vestas' profitability and the ability to continuously improve competitiveness. We are responsible for aligning the Product Strategy globally across our Sales Business Units to support local market success and in this taking into account the dynamics of the global market for renewables solutions.


In order to lead the products through the value chain and all the way to the market, Onshore Product Market Strategy cooperates with many stakeholders across Vestas.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of highly professional employees
  • Define and prioritise the needed Plant roadmap globally to secure future competitiveness and market access across sustainable energy solutions. And ensure global alignment with key stakeholders
  • Analyse relevant segments and market opportunities across sustainable energy solutions
  • Engage in roadmap projects to steer focus and direction from a market perspective
  • Establish the Go-to-Market strategy as part of commercialising upcoming product releases

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of experience from energy markets - for instance from utility, regulator, equipment manufacturer or trading side
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree. - either in Engineering combined with a commercial education or relevant commercial experience - or in Business/Economics combined with a technical education or relevant technical experience
  • Proven experience of delivering solid results and working with a wide range of stakeholders in an international, complex organisation
  • Proven managerial experience

  • You are self-confident, not afraid of conflicts and willing to go the extra mile to do "what it takes"
  • You have the power to influence and question the status quo both internally and externally
  • You possess great communication skills and are fluent in English (oral and written)

Additional information
The workplace is Aarhus, Denmark.

 

You should expect up to 30 days of travel activity per year. 

 

You will be managing a team of around 10 persons.
