As part of the People and Culture organization, you'll be a key member of the Global Talent Management team, collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders. This role involves being a trusted advisor, enhancing performance management and succession planning efforts.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Global Talent Partner is tasked with developing and implementing talent management processes that support the organization's business direction. Three key focus areas include succession planning, performance management, and stakeholder engagement. The candidate who is chosen will be vital in developing talent in support of organizational goals.
- Succession Planning
Oversees the creation and management of individualized development plans for select employees and senior leaders in the region. Schedules regular check-ins to review progress and adjust goals, assign leadership training, and stretch assignments. Conducts quarterly Talent Action Review/Talent snapshot meetings with the Regional Leadership team to ensure readiness for transitions of key talent. Enhances the organization's capabilities by providing specialized support, training, and guidance, i.e., a succession toolbox for the business which incorporates best practices, knowledge, and resources for succession planning and development. - Enhance Performance Management Metrics
Includes implementation of a quarterly performance and organizational health review process, using key people data to identify successes and areas for improvement, and providing actionable feedback, and set specific, measurable goals for the next quarter.
- Improve Stakeholder Engagement
Includes developing a stakeholder engagement strategy for Regional/Functional Leadership Teams and Regional P&C Business Partners. Schedule regular meetings with key stakeholders to understand talent needs and facilitate collaborative initiatives.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 6-12 years of relevant work experience in talent management, succession planning, or related HR roles.
- Comprehensive understanding of talent management best practices, including talent acquisition, employee development, succession planning, performance management, and retention strategies.
- Experience in designing and implementing talent management strategies in a worldwide organization.
- Background in being a trusted advisor and navigating cross-cultural stakeholder dynamics at all organizational levels
