North & Central Europe is Vestas' largest region globally, and within our Service organisation we are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Senior Director in Service Supply Chain, Repair & Tools. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Service for Northern and Central Europe, you will oversee a vital function responsible for regional delivery performance, cost management, inventory, repair, and tools results. In this senior leadership position, you will become part of the Northern and Central European Service Leadership Team and work closely with highly skilled and motivated business leaders across the region and globally.
Responsibilities
As our new leader, you will:
- Manage, develop, and inspire a regional organisation of leaders and specialists across Supply Chain, Repair & Tools
- Strengthen delivery performance across Northern and Central Europe, supporting turbine availability, customer satisfaction, and service excellence
- Optimise costs across the end-to-end service supply chain while balancing service levels, operational risk, and long-term value creation
- Enhance inventory performance and working capital through robust planning, governance, and continuous improvement
- Ensure efficient, scalable, and high-quality Repair & Tools operations in close collaboration with global stakeholders
- Own functional KPIs, budgets, people processes, strategic priorities, and transformation initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business management, supply chain, logistics, engineering, or a related field
- Extensive senior leadership experience in supply chain, service operations, logistics, repair, tools, or similar operational environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead other leaders and develop effective teams within complex global organisations
- Demonstrated track record in delivery performance, cost optimisation, inventory management, and operational excellence
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and executives in a matrix organisation
- Fluent English communication and negotiation skills

Additional information
The position is in Aarhus, Denmark, but additional locations, such as Copenhagen, Denmark or Hamburg, Germany, are considered. For this role, you can expect up to 35 days of travel per year.
