We're in the midst of an exciting digital transformation, delivering through a digital product-led setup using agile practices. Our product area has end-to-end digital governance for the Market to Order value stream, and we continuously improve digital products to support our global business partners. Plus, we engage broadly across Vestas' digital landscape and organization.
Responsibilities
As a Product Architect for SAP SD, you'll have a comprehensive view of the architecture across the Product Area. You'll play a key technical role in building solutions for Market to Order capabilities, primarily focusing on SAP SD. You'll have an impact on the overall roadmap for the product area and serve as the primary touchpoint for SAP.
You'll work within a dynamic product team that includes product owners, technical development resources, QA, and support. You'll report functionally to the Digital Opportunity Development and Sales functional architect team, collaborating with other talented individuals to drive the Product Area architectural vision.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing guidance and support in designing solution and domain architecture based on business requirements, and leveraging new functionalities within the existing IT landscape
- Ensuring scalable solutions across the product area
- Aligning technical implementation with the overall tech roadmap and standards whilst also helping addressing technical capability gaps for product roadmaps
- Preparing solution design and technical design documentation
- Staying current with updates and recommending best practices to optimize systems
- Driving the roadmap with business stakeholders
- Reducing technical debt alongside business priorities
Qualifications
- A Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a relevant field with 3+ years of experience as an IT Solution Architect within the Sales/CRM domain
- Extensive knowledge of SAP SD (with most focus on the Sales aspect, ie knowledge of order management), with also high knowledge of FICO and PS
- High level of knowledge of integrations with third-party systems
- High-level understanding of SAP BI & Reporting objects and capabilities is good to have
- Extensive knowledge of Sales & Distribution and integrations with third-party systems
- Knowledge of different integration patterns and their best usage
- S4 Hana experience is a bonus
