Here within our Operations Organisation, we are seeking an enthusaistic, team oriented individual to join our highly skilled team of colleagues, taking a lead on being responsible for building SCADA Hardware (installing servers; OS, VMWARE etc) This is an exciting opportunity which offers not only the opportunity to travel, but offers a range of responsibilities that will help you grow both professionally and personally.

You will report to the Head of Wind Power Plants Control

Within our Operations organisation, you will join a team consisting of 14 Controls experts located primarily at the headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark. Your location will depend on your residence and can be either at our offices in Hamburg, Germany, or Aarhus, Denmark. Both are places where we are currently setting up small Controls teams focusing on SCADA to work closely with the rest of the team in Aarhus. 

Your team and you will proactively cooperate with customers and internal departments such as Technical Sales, IT and Service to secure continuous optimized Controls deliveries.



  • Supply SCADA and power plant system engineering, functional design specification, configuration, and layout according to the contract
  • Provide and maintain SCADA and power plant system documentation, incl. as built documentation
  • Ensure Complete SCADA hardware setup is ready for FAT and installation
  • Ensure approved SCADA RNSP’s are followed up. 
  • Responsible for SCADA Server, Storage, Backup solution 
  • Responsible for testing the complete hardware setup
  • Responsible for supporting the offshore service organization with server and storage upgrades
  • Determine and provide SCADA hardware training
  • Ensure sign-off of FAT and SAT with stakeholders is carried out according the overall project plan.


More specifically, the tasks that you will be performing are to: 

  • Review SCADA contract requirements
  • Design and build SCADA Core infrastructure / Design and build SCADA patch plan
  • Server, storage, back-up (Veeam), windows server OS, SQL, VM-Ware
  • Attend the cyber security development framework
  • Monitor SCADA hardware on existing offshore wind power plants.
  • Support the SCADA engineers during projects
  • Documentation of Core infrastructure



  • Several years of practical experience with SCADA core infrastructure technologies, implementation, and installation
  • Practical knowledge with Microsoft based Server and database technologies. 
  • Experience with VM Ware hypervision
  • Knowledge and experience within area of creating and maintaining technical documentation for SCADA core infrastructure 
  • You may have an educational background as AP Graduate in IT such as Data Technician or Operational Adminstrator
  • Speaks and writes as minimum English fluently
