EVP Area Service – Global Service Supply Chain – Plant Operations Engineering
Plant Operations Engineering team is reporting into Service Operations Engineering and is responsible for continuously improving the Plant products & solutions, processes, knowledge sharing and collaboration with other internal teams. This includes working with all global Service units worldwide and design teams to co-ordinate and develop wind energy SCADA and PPC operational strategies.

As SCADA HW Engineer in Plant Operations Engineering, your main responsibilities are to handle and provide solutions for the SCADA Hardware systems. Moreover, you will:

  • Be responsible for designing aftersales solutions and updating existing hardware and software in our SCADA systems
  • Work in close interaction and collaboration with our global Service teams, R&D teams, internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide support to Service Technicians in troubleshooting and repair via phone / ticket or on site
  • Identify, develop, and validate technical improvement measures as part of the continuous improvement process
  • Provide answers to technical questions to internal and external stakeholders, taking part in customer or supplier meetings and seminars


To thrive in this position, we expect that you have:

  • B.Sc.E.E, M.Sc.E.E, or other relevant education
  • Min 6 years’ experience with from IT or automation systems. Experience with SCADA systems if possible
  • Detailed knowledge of hardware, software and network and system testing from a similar position
  • Great communication skills in English spoken and written
  • Working experience from a global company would be exciting to have 
  • Knowledge on IEC, CE, and UL standards

Additional information
Your primary work location will be at Vestas headquarter in Aarhus, Denmark. We are expecting up to 25% travel for this position.
