The Global Repair Department oversees the product repair for components, including spare parts for global service of Vestas and non-Vestas wind turbines in close corporation with the SBUs. Repair Program Manager The Repair Program Manager is responsible for the repaired product as well ensuring highest possible utilization of them to ensure savings for our customers and support Vestas overall strategy on sustainability. This means you will be Repair Program owner for minor components where your primary responsibility will be to boost globally the development and utilization of repaired minor component for Vestas and Multibrand. Your achievement will be measured in your capabilities to interact with the regional RPMs, the SBUs, understand the issues and solve them, gather key stakeholders in supporting the business to meet financial goals by optimum utilization of repaired components and savings. The role interfaces regularly with internal stakeholders, repair shops as well as external suppliers and effectively propels solutions to ensure risks of component products are mitigated and customer needs are supported.



  • Your primary responsibilities as Repair Program Manager for minor components will be:
  • Develop the initiatives for Minor components to secure Global Repair Operations Strategy Execution.
  • Understanding of current process, identification of GAPS and supervise improvements with the key stakeholders to secure smooth execution and deliverables
  • Owner of REN saving target on Minor Components Cross Regions (Global role) – Direct impact to P&L in Service
  • Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
  • Identify, prioritize and propel between the team and stakeholders business opportunities to scale current Repair Business
  • Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.
  • Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
  • Deliver according to expected targets on Cost Out and Revenue.
  • Develop current and future supply plan and scenario, both with our internal workshop and potential vendors
  • Communication towards all regions and stakeholders



  • BSc in Engineer will be highly valued
  • Experience in working in operations, e.g. in production, supply chain, service or logistics
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English; solid ability to communicate at all organizational levels; ability to supervise clear presentations to audiences with various levels of technical understanding; able to provide technical guidance to employees, customers, external suppliers and key stakeholders
  • Experience with SAP is an advantage
  • Microsoft Office, ERP / MRP systems, CRM database



  • Proficiency to understand customer needs and requirements
  • Well organized and demonstrated effective project management skills; comfortable with change management; solid ability to supervise diverse priorities in an ever-changing environment
  • Ability to supervise and influence activities across multiple organizational levels and functions
  • Good incentive to get things done and see that work is completed on schedule; able to work with no supervision and be motivated in identifying tasks and delivering results
  • Good team leadership and collaboration qualities; ability to take leadership among external resources; ability to maintain effective relationship with remote team members or members in other regions.
  • Ability to understand financial business impact, provide relevant data for and develop business cases that have positive business impact through the whole value chain Solid ability to collect and present data to be used for administration on all levels, provide recommendations for decision as well make decisions within own responsibility area
