The Global Repair & Lifecycle department at Vestas Wind Systems plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective repair of wind turbine components to enhance sustainable energy solutions. This department focuses on maintaining the reliability and performance of wind turbines through timely and accurate repairs. The team offers an opportunity to contribute to the renewable energy sector and work on exciting projects that directly support the sustainability and circularity goals of Vestas.
We are seeking a Repair Product Manager to join our team at Vestas, an international wind energy company. We are searching for a professional skilled in strategic project management, focused on sustainable initiatives, and prepared to flourish in a complex and creative organization.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Contribute to developing and maintaining mid- and long-term strategic project roadmap
  • Create, develop and submit project appraisals in alignment with strategic roadmap and functional portfolio management
  • Collaborate with project manager(s) and ensure value creation in strategic projects as business representative
  • Facilitate dialogues with SMEs and key stakeholders to define scope and ensure project product outcomes are aligned, fit for purpose and value driven
  • Ensure project product implementation and transition to operations plans meet specifications and business requirements
  • Ensure post-project benefit evaluation of financial performance and circularity gains

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in supply chain management, engineering, finance or a related field
  • Experience in project management within the wind industry or similar related industries
  • Demonstrated skills in business case creation and strategic communication
  • Solid analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data and build insights that support business decisions
  • Hold a project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, PMI or equivalent
  • Proficiency with MS Office and SAP
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are beneficial

  • Highly organized and able to manage shifting priorities with ease

Additional information

 

Your primary work location will be DK, Aarhus, but could be open to Videbæk as well.
You should expect some travel activity, approximately 25 days per year.
