In People Resource Management (PRM), our sub-department of Service Business Unit of Construction and Operations Quality department in Northern Central Europe Region, we are excited to have an skilled trusted work team of highly qualified workers, ready to support our projects and ad hoc assignments in Europe and beyond. People Resource Management (PRM) department is located in Aarhus, Denmark, and covers several different work scopes.Our team works on activities in quality on-/offshore, supporting some of the largest wind farm projects in the world. They are exposed daily to large wind turbine components. This entails working on large scale components which requires a mindset of safety and great leadership skills.This role is within quality onshore, with your actual work location on our many different projects around Europe and potentially the rest of the world. You may also be required to support projects offshore. 

 

Responsibilities

You will be part of the onshore project team, with whom you will work closely in getting the Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) from installation, commissioning and into operation. You must take all necessary actions to comply with Vestas' safety and quality standards. You will work with several members of the project team, including client representatives participating in all quality tasks. You are responsible to carry out your work scope favorably in a safe and timely manner.

Furthermore, your tasks will include:

  • Plan and conduct component inspections (including inspection of incoming deliveries to site on specified components e.g., nacelles, towers, and blades) 

  • Coordinate quality scope with project team to meet customer WTG requirements 

  • Identify, describe, register and report non-conformities 

  • Review, approve and document inspection reports

  • Coordinate quality improvements across Vestas' value chain 

  • Participate in audits in accordance with quality specifications 

  • Ensure a safe work environment by acting in compliance with Vestas' HSE requirements

 

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you need to be fluent in English (orally and written) combined with a strong interest in quality area.

As well it is good to have:

  • WTG experience

  • Experience working with electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic diagrams 

  • Education with wind turbine experience or proven experience working on site 

  • Good understanding of ISO9001 and ISO14001 

  • A valid driving license (cat.B) and residence in Denmark

Additional information

This role is including a lot of traveling as you will be working with work locations on sites within Northern and Central Europe countries.

 

You will be working 16 days on rotation (including days of traveling) and 12 days off.
